From being greeted at the door by the DJ on Sunday afternoon, 1 PM, to the top-notch service... Everything was amazing. Truly exceeded my expectations, the food was delicious. I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday, and we were truly treated like queens. The music is so much fun, a vibrant, beautifully decorated spot. Highly recommend!

Ana was amazing today ... the restaurant was short staffed and while another server came in she held the fort down. She was a hostess , a server and bartender all while having a smile on her face ... and making all the orders come out quicker than you would think. Would definetly come back to this restaurant seeing someone with such great work ethic. Not to mention the best Margaritas ..

First, the restaurant was beautiful. Very cozy. The lighting/decor made for great ambiance. Our server was very attentive and brought complementary cocktails for us to offer opinions on. The drinks were BEAUTIFUL. The food was so well seasoned and beautifully presented. Cannot say enough good things. Also a great dirty martini w vermouth! We had the churros for dessert and if I wasn't already tipsy, we would've tried the espresso martini too!

I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor at Agave. It is dimly lit with a comfy vibe and good music. They have a bar you can sit at. The restaurant is decently sized as well. To start you get chips and dip (the first time I came here, I realized they forgot it... oops.. but the second time I made sure to ask for it) For food, we ordered the pulpo (octopus) which was really yum, if you like octopus - this is for you. My friend had the birria tacos, they were also pretty good. For dessert, we had tres leches. This was good but it did not have that deep flavor it should. The slice was a decent size, though and the cake still moist and milky, so it's a good dish to share. For drinks, I had the expresso martini but with their Mexican coffee and whip on top - this was delicious and hit the spot. We also had a strawberry mojito (a little sour but OK) and coconut tequila drink. Both drinks are beautifully served and were strong enough. My one comment, which I DEARLY hope they fix, is the service. Though the waitresses and waiters are nice, service is slow. They do not come to your table and check-in as often or they may forget things - it happens, it is understandable. However, it seems like they are understaffed. I would recommend this spot for a date night/girls night or even just a fun dinner. There was a DJ Friday night and Im assuming throughout the weekend! All in all, Id recommend it! This place is the very best!!!! So this was an impromptu cousins night out - and boy was it a good one!! The minute we walked in the attendant knew our table and our party! CAMILA was our server and she DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! She was knowledgeable of all the plates on the menu - the senna and the desserts!! She also smelled AMAZING!!!! Thank you Camila!! I ordered the pork shank-In sauce - the tacos al pastor and tacos and more tacos. Don't worry, this was ordered amongst 4 of us - - we also had the best guacamole -the most scrumptious churros (celebrating 2 birthday!!) and more drinks! Camila our super STAR - kind, thoughtful helper Was the BEST!!! If you want good Attention, food, dessert, music, drinks - ambience - come here!!! Buen provecho!!

This is my second time here. The food was good. However, the sauce for the Biria tacos was not thick. I'm use to it being thicker and a bit more flavorful. Besides that the rest tasted delicious. My husband enjoyed his shrimp. The cocktails are always pretty to look at and they taste great and have a good amount of liquor in them. They always have music playing to keep you in the mood. Our server checked on us occasionally.

Service was top tier. The staff came and checked on us multiple times. The outside area is super cute and perfect for a summer evening. I had two coconut mojitos that were strong and tasty. Shared the queso fundido was so good. I definitely want to come back to try other menu items Please note they have valet but it does have a $5 service charge. Good thing he took zelle but also you can park on the side streets and save your $5.

Same owner as the Agave in Wallington, but very different menu. This menu was more of a Mexican fusion menu, whereas Wallington's menu is more authentic Mexican food. Overall the food was delightful. The guac was delicious. Downside, it only came with 4 chips. Not nearly enough to eat the guac. We also ordered shrimp as an appetizer. It was good and had a nice spicy kick to it. The margarita was fantastic and was presented wonderfully. For dinner, I had the enchiladas and my fiancé had chicken. Both were good. The chicken was a small portion, should be on the appetizer menu given the size. Overall a good experience. Missing a little more liveliness that I normally see at Mexican restaurants. Upbeat music would have been nice.
